Samaritans

Trained Samaritans are available to talk through your concerns and worries any time, day or night.

Parents Helpline

Provides advice and support to parents and carers who are concerned about their child’s mental health. available Monday to Friday, 9.30am – 4:00pm.

Shout 85258

Offers free, confidential, 24/7 text message support in the UK for anyone who is struggling to cope. Text ‘Shout’ to 85258 to speak to a trained volunteer. 

 YoungMinds

Provides young people with information, advice and tools to look after their mental health. They also support parents and professionals.

Childline

Trained Childline counsellors are there for children and young people, open 24/7. Available online and on the phone.

Good Thinking

A free, NHS-approved digital wellbeing service that provides a range of resources for young people to help improve mental wellbeing, including wellbeing apps, workbooks and guides. Available 24/7.

Papyrus

Trained advisors provide support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person. Available everyday, 9am to midnight.
